Local Projects

  • I Like Me books to all kindergarten students in Clarksville
  • Angel Tree - Christmas presents to 17 children in 2004
  • Clean water project with New Life International. Provide both financial aid as well as on-site volunteers to assemble water purifiers.
  • Relay For Life - Co-sponsor of a team with the Jeffersonville Rotary Club
  • $500 Scholarships to a student at Providence and Clarksville High Schools
  • Fund two students to Rotary's RYLA leadership retreat
  • Clean-up at the Falls of the Ohio for Annual Lewis & Clark celebration
  • Honor Clarksville Public Servants of the Year (fireman, police officer, teacher)
  • Provide Rotary Readers to 1st grade students in Clarksville
  • Host luncheon to honor top ten student leaders from Providence and Clarksville High Schools
